It's now half term. Although we will not see one another for the next two weeks, it is crucial that I set out how to contact me should anyone in your family test positive for COVID. If that does happen, could you please email me at That contact will allow me to make any necessary arrangements and ensure we all remain as safe as possible. Thank you and I hope you all have a great half term holiday. Mr Farrington

Welcome to Burford Primary and Nursery School

We've had a wonderful first half term, despite the pressures brought about by COVID. Please take the time to have a look round our website so you can get an idea of what we are all about. If you then need any more information, please contact us and the relevant person will be happy to talk to you.

Welcome back Years 2, 3 and 4

Morning everyone,

It was lovely welcoming back so many children today. Apart from a few teething problems, everything seemed to go well. One thing that would help, though, is if parents came just five minutes before their scheduled drop off times. We had loads of really enthusiastic parents who were here quite some time before their drop off time. Whilst I commend this level of enthusiasm it did lead to some quite big queues that could help the virus spread. It would be great if we could avoid this in the future.

Thinking further ahead, I am confident the drop off, and pick up, times will stay consistent now till the end of the summer term. As always, Miss Ashurst will confirm that on Thursday morning.

If you would like your child to join us next week, please contact the school office before 11am

Stay safe,

Mr Farrington
