Personal Development
Personal development is important at Burford and we are fully committed to providing pupils with a wide range of exciting enrichment and learning opportunities to develop character, cultural capital and enjoyment. Many events take place in school whilst all pupils in all classes have access to at least 2 off-site experiences per year (with the costs partially funded by the school budget). The following are examples of such opportunities accessed by pupils:
- M&M theatre production
- Monster mash day
- Children in Need & Comic Relief fundraisers
- Inflatable fun day

Keeping Healthy Staying Safe
We recognise the summer can feel along time for children and to help them transition back into school, we start each academic year with a theme week called 'Keeping Healthy Staying Safe'. This is an opportunity for staff to develop key skills such as road safety and healthy bodies, healthy minds as we welcome them back into school.
