Burford re-opened for all pupils on Tuesday 1st September 2020. Things have gone smoothly so far and may I thank all parents, children and staff for their help in achieving this. The school's risk assessment is posted in our policies section, should you like to read it.

Welcome to Burford Primary and Nursery School

We are looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday 1st September 2020! Our first week back is a theme week called 'Keeping Healthy & Staying Safe'. We'll be learning about how to keep our bodies & brains healthy by exploring healthy eating, exercise, e-safety & mental health. WE CAN'T WAIT! Check Class Dojo for updates!

Re-opening for Y6

Hi everyone,

I received confirmation from the trust executive board earlier today that we are now able to extend our offer and re-open, initially for our Year 6 pupils.  That will happen from Monday 8th June.

Mrs Flowers will be in contact with the 16 Year 6 parents who have confirmed they would like their child to return to school. Mrs Flowers will talk you through start/ and finish times, as well as other practical arrangements.

If you are a parent of a child in Year 6 who originally said no to returning to school then you can change your mind. However, you do need to contact the school office by Wednesday of each week to do that to allow us enough time to plan for the following week.

Mrs Flowers will also be in contact with the parents of those children currently attending school to confirm arrangements for next week.

Our plan is to establish how well re-opening for our Year 6 pupils goes and use this as a guide for planning to extend re-opening to F1, F2 and Year 1 pupils. I will be in contact with further details about this soon.

Mr Farrington
