Our children have been learning about 'How to Keep Healthy and Safe', from washing our hands, eating healthy foods and even a special visit from Zak the Zebra who taught us how to cross the road safely.

Welcome to Burford Primary and Nursery School

Welcome to our website. We hope it contains all the information you require but, if not, please feel free to contact us. For information, Burford follows Nottingham City Council's school holiday pattern. Should you require a paper copy of any document on this site, school will provide it to you free of charge.

School Dinner Time Menus

It's important to us that our lunch times are happy and healthy times.

We enjoy sitting together, discussing our days and eating tasty, healthy food cooked in our school kitchen.

We also learn about how to keep healthy in our Science lessons and grow our own food at Forest School.

These are our menus for this year.

We like to try new things and have open minds!

We have a new dinner menu starting on the 4th November 2019. Your child will now have the choice of three different meal options. For children in F2, Year 1 and Year 2, school diners are free. For Years 3, 4, 5 and 6, dinners are charged at a rate of £2.15 per day (unless you are entitled to FSM - enquire at the office)

If your child would prefer to have a packed lunch instead of a school dinner, then please have a look at the leaflet below for ideas on how you can make them healthy and nutritious for your child.
