Welcome to the Governors' section. This page will tell you about each governor and how they help the school. It will also contain key documents, such as the current School Development Plan, which will help you to understand what the school is working towards.
Our governing body is made up of the members below:
Rob Denzel - Chair of Governors and Community governor.
Lisa Vann - Vice Chair of Governors and Transform Trust representative.
Kerry Gretton - Parent Governor

Michael Walter - Parent Governor
Karen Coker - Co-opted Governor
Kevin McDonnell - Co-opted Governor
Clare Orchiston - Teacher Governor
Shaun Farrington - Headteacher
All governors serve on the governing body for a period of three years. Governors can be reappointed for a further three years after this initial period is over. All our governors have declared they do not have a business or pecuniary interest that prevents them sitting on the governing body.
Burford's Headteacher is also a governor at Robert Shaw Primary, Nottingham. Karen Coker is Headteacher at Robert Shaw.
We hold a termly full governing body meeting. We also hold a termly Strategic Development and Pupils and Personnel committee meeting as well as a Finance and General Purposes Committee. Should you require a copy of any of these papers please ask at the school office.
